Yang Maolin, male, born in February 1948, is a senior teacher at Bao Shiyi Middle School. He has been dedicated to learning calligraphy art for more than 40 years and has been engaged in calligraphy teaching for 15 years. He has trained multiple excellent calligraphy students. In 2013, he participated in the National Calligraphy Competition to celebrate the 18th National Congress and won first prize. His work was also featured on the calendar that year. In 2013, he participated in the calligraphy and painting exhibition of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and won the first prize of the Central Organization Department, the first prize of the Inner Mongolia Civil Affairs Department, and the first prize of the Songhe Cup. His works have been collected by major companies multiple times. In 2018, he was awarded the title of "Elderly Calligrapher" by the Inner Mongolia Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association. I am currently the Vice President of Baotou Guangyi Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Vice President of Baotou Guoxue Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Member of Baotou Calligraphers Association, Executive Director of Baotou Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Association, Member of Inner Mongolia Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, Member of Inner Mongolia Poetry and Calligraphy Research Association, and Member of China Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association.
