Huaze Calligraphy High Research Class Exhibition held in Hangzhou

From October 10th to 15th, the "Clear Breeze Under the Forest - Works Exhibition of Huaze Calligraphy High Research Class" was held at the Hangzhou National Painting Academy Art Museum. The exhibition is hosted by the Zhejiang Calligraphy Research Association and co organized by the Wang Xizhi Art Research Institute in Lanting, Zhejiang.
 
In 2014, the Hangzhou Office of Rui'an Municipal Government in Zhejiang Province, together with the Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Carving Institute of Xiling Seal Engraving Society, held a public welfare classroom for calligraphy advanced research classes. In 2019, it officially developed into a public welfare project for Huazhe Calligraphy Advanced Research Class and has continued to this day. This exhibition showcases a total of 15 works by invited guests and mentors, as well as 86 works by students. The content of the works is either based on ancient poetry and prose, or self composed couplets in books. They include both strict adherence to the rules and interesting self creations, showcasing the achievements and style of the Huaze Calligraphy High Research Class's seven year study.
 
At the opening ceremony, Chen Tiexiong, Vice Chairman of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Qian Jianmin, former Secretary of the Shaoxing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Lin Yongyi, Second level Inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and He Difei, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Zhejiang Calligraphers Association, jointly cut the ribbon for the exhibition. Chi Changqing, Chairman of the Zhejiang Calligraphy Research Association, Chen Mianquan, former Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Audit Department and Class Leader of Huaze Calligraphy High Research Class, and He Difei, representative of the mentor, delivered speeches respectively. Li Yan, member of the Zhejiang Calligraphy Association Presidium, Director of the Women's Calligraphers Committee, and member of Xiling Seal Engravers Society, presided over the opening ceremony.
