Shang Hui, Chen Jing, Xu Xiaofeng, Ren Shanshan, Yin Jiulong, and others delivered speeches one after another, while curator Yu Yi presided over the event.
It is reported that this exhibition combines topology with the environment of Zishan Lake, where "cycle" refers to ecological cycle, "life" includes breathing of life, and is also related to the era of digital intelligence. The exhibition breaks through traditional painting and brings a full sensory experience through installations. The works respond to the current state of existence and blend with Ziyouji, making it a "down-to-earth" intellectual exhibition.
At the subsequent "Circulation and Vitality" art salon, artists, curators, and scholars such as He Duoling, Wei Guangqing, Chen Jing, Hong Magnesium, Dong Xueying, Cheng Ran, Yin Jiulong, Zeng Yang, and Ji Zong gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions around the exhibition theme, focusing on the relationship between contemporary art creation and traditional culture, natural ecology, and social context. Several artists, curators, and scholars shared their thoughts on intergenerational differences in contemporary art, the relationship between space and works, curatorial methods, and cultural cycles. The attendees unanimously agreed that this exhibition is not only a visual presentation, but also an interactive exploration between art, environment, and audience, reflecting the response and extension of contemporary art in urban industrial transformation and ecological context.
It is reported that this exhibition, as one of the 105th anniversary events of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, will be open to the public for free until October 26th. During this period, a series of diverse and interactive "Ziyouji Art Life Festival" activities will also be held.
