Zhou Boxi, pen names Baixi and Xinxi, was born in 1951 in Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. He had a university education and was a member of the Communist Party of China. He served in the military for more than 20 years and later transferred to work in the local area. He has now retired. Despite facing many hardships and setbacks in his early years, he had a passion for writing calligraphy with a brush when he was young, and as he grew up, his love for the art of calligraphy remained steadfast. After entering the workforce, whether dedicating oneself to national defense construction or returning to the local area, one can devote oneself to the study of various schools of thought in their spare time, explore the charm of different schools of thought, and demonstrate a bold and unrestrained spirit, absorbing the style of combining strength and flexibility. I am currently a member of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters Association, a first-class calligrapher, and a researcher. His works are widely seen in newspapers and magazines, and he has participated in calligraphy competitions held nationwide multiple times, winning awards and being awarded honorary titles. His works have been included in some books, and some of them have been collected by elites from all walks of life and art galleries.
