臧文秀Zang Wenxiu

Zang Wenxiu, male, Han ethnicity, from Yitong, Jilin. Born in October 1944, a member of the Communist Party of China, with a college degree. Retired as a civil servant in October 2024, formerly serving as the Deputy Secretary General of the Siping Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. I am currently a member of the China Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a member of the Jilin Calligraphers Association, a founding member of the Jilin Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and a member of the Siping City Literature and Art Federation. Formerly served as Vice President of the Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in Siping City and President of the Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in Tiexi District, Siping City. I have been hired as a contracted calligrapher and painter by Beijing Tongzhou International Calligraphy and Painting Academy, China Calligraphy and Painting Information Network, and China Calligraphy and Painting Information Network. His calligraphy works have won over 130 awards in various national competitions, including more than 90 gold awards and over 20 first prizes. In 2012, he went to South Korea to participate in the Lishui World Expo Calligraphy and Painting International Exchange Exhibition. In 2015, he was comprehensively evaluated by the Evaluation Committee of the National Cultural and Art Professional Qualification Center and qualified as a famous calligrapher. In 2016, he was nominated as one of the top ten outstanding figures in the "Art World - Top 100 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters". In August 2021, he participated in the Global Network Art Museum exhibition with 50 calligraphy works titled "Maple Leaves in Red". In January 2024, his calligraphy works won the special prize in the Dadi Cup Art Competition, and in April 2024, he won the special prize in the Moyuantang National Art Competition. In April 2025, his calligraphy works won the Shaohua Cup Calligraphy and Painting Grand Set Award, and in September 2025, he won the special prize in the Shuyun Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
