叶世明Ye Shiming

Ye Shiming joined the army (the first battalion of the 26th Regiment of the Railway Corps) in December 1970 and joined the CPC in September 1973. In July 2024, he was awarded the Medal of Honor by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for his 50th anniversary in the party. He has committed three acts of self sacrifice to save people, the first of which was in August 1973 during the construction of the Xiangyu Railway by the railway troops; The second time in the rural area of Jiandong Brigade, Fucheng Commune, Longchuan County; The third time was in April 1980 on the road in Shuixin New Village, Shenzhen. Since August 1979, I have been working in the Shenzhen Garden Group Company system, serving as the secretary of the Shenzhen Garden Import and Export Trading Company, the Municipal Flower and Tree Company, the Party Branch Secretary of the Donghu Hotel, the deputy general manager, and the chairman of the labor union. He was awarded many times by the regiment, battalion and company when he was in the army. On July 1, 1980, he was rated as the outstanding Communist Party member of Shenzhen, and many times as the outstanding Communist Party member, exemplary individual, and outstanding trade union cadre of Shenzhen Garden Group Company, Shenzhen construction system. He retired in March 2011, and then re employed the original work unit of Shenzhen East Lake Hotel. From July 2014 to July 2018, served as a member of the Party Committee of the Garden Group Company. In August 2019, I retired from work at home and participated in the study of calligraphy and painting at Changqing University for the Elderly in the city.

 

After retirement, he participated in the study of calligraphy at Shenzhen Changqing University for the Elderly, under the guidance of Mr. Luo Jinshu, Vice President of Shenzhen Shanhe Painting Academy. He devoted himself to studying the inscriptions of famous artists throughout history, and deeply appreciated their charm and the bones of ancient people. His works have participated in numerous domestic calligraphy exhibitions and won awards. His calligraphy works have been collected by people from the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and other countries, and have received high praise. He has been hired as a researcher by the Global Hanmo Culture and Art Institute and a member of the Shenzhen Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Association.

2020 award-winning works: Shenzhen Party and Mass Center Commemorative Certificate. Thank you for participating in the "My Heart to the Party" themed calligraphy and painting collection activity, donating works, participating in the "Shenzhen Special Zone 40th Anniversary Calligraphy and Painting Photography Exhibition" organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, exhibiting works from the Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Association, calligraphy newspaper, winning the Silver Award for Chinese Chongyang Calligraphy and Painting Works, and winning the Gold Award for the "2020 National Cultural Heritage Inheritor Activity".

 

In April 2021, donated calligraphy works to fight against COVID-19, and the 14th China Chongyang Painting and Calligraphy Silver Award (November 2021).

 

Selected as a contemporary calligrapher and painter's catalogue in April 2022.

 

Participate in the Longgang District Thousand Character Art Exhibition in 2023.

 

In November 2024, he was hired as a lecturer for the "Five Elders" of the Futian District Customs Working Committee.

 

In July 2008, I voluntarily paid a party fee of 1000 yuan to support the work of the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan.

 

In May 2020, a voluntary donation of 1000 yuan will be made to support the prevention and control of COVID-19.

 

In recent years, I have actively participated in the exhibition of calligraphy works for the elderly in the city and won awards. I have participated in volunteer calligraphy writing activities at the city, district, street, and community levels more than five times a year, and have been deeply loved by the general public and received high praise.

 

From 2019 to 2025, studied calligraphy and painting at Changqing University for the Elderly in Shenzhen and served as the secretary of the Party branch.

 

From July 2020 to present, concurrently serving as the Deputy Secretary of the Shazui Community Party Branch of the Shatou Office.
