Chen Mei, also known as Chang Yue, female, of Tu ethnicity, born in 1963. I have been practicing and creating Chinese painting since 1983, specializing in Chinese flower and bird painting. Everything comes to him who waits. The dedicated study of Chinese painting over the past thirty years has begun to be recognized by the social art community. In 2005, she participated in the "Dream of a Strong Country" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War and the World Anti Fascist War, and won the second prize. The Chinese painting "Fragrant Condensation" created in 2006 won a silver award at the "Good Premier of the People - Commemorating the 108th Anniversary of Zhou Enlai's Birth National Large scale Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition". In 2007, the work participated in the third "Golden Tripod Award" National Calligraphy and Art Exhibition and won a silver award, and was specially awarded the honorary title of "Top 100 Chinese Artists". In 2008, the artwork "Flowers" was exhibited at the 8th China Painting Exhibition in Qinghai Province, and won the gold medal in the "China Cup" International Painting, Calligraphy, and Photography Exhibition that same year. In 2009, his work, "The Prosperity of the Motherland and the Revitalization of the Nation", participated in the "Mount Huangshan Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition on the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up and won the gold medal. In 2011, the work "Spring in the Snowy Land" won the gold medal in the 20th "Lanting Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In the same year, his work "National Beauty" won the "Glorious Life" - Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the founding of the CPC - the Excellence Award of the First National Press and Publication Industry Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition held by the General Administration of Press and Publication. In 2012, the work "Ruyi Fugui Tu" won the Excellence Award at the "2012 National Exhibition of Outstanding Art and Calligraphy Works by the Masses"; Won the gold medal in the "Jinggangshan Sun Red Commemoration of the 85th Anniversary of the Victory Meeting of Jinggangshan and the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Chairman Mao" Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters Competition; In the same year, to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the birth of Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, and Peng Dehuai, a global invitation exhibition of works by Chinese calligraphy and painting masters won the gold medal. In 2014, the work "Autumn Rhyme" participated in the "Silk Road Western Cultural Tour Qinghai Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" and was collected by the Qinghai Provincial Museum of Culture and History. In 2015, participated in the "Blood Casting Stele" National Painting and Calligraphy Masters Competition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War, won the gold medal, and was awarded the honorary title of "Top 100 Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters"; In the same year, three works including "Welcoming Spring" participated in the "Golden Sheep Welcoming Spring - Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Invitation Exhibition" held by the Confucius Temple National Essence Art Museum and the Guozijian Art Museum. In May 2016, "National Colors and Fragrance - Chen Magnesium's Collection of Traditional Chinese Painting Works" was published and distributed. In October 2017, I participated in the "Fourth Chinese Poetry and Calligraphy Exhibition" organized by the State Council Counselor's Office and the Central Research Institute of Culture and History in Kaifeng, Henan. One Chinese painting was exhibited, and three were collected by the State Council Counselor's Office and the Central Research Institute of Culture and History. In September of the same year, at the invitation of the Thai China Thailand Friendship Association and the Thai "the Belt and Road" Research Association, the "Xining Bangkok, Thailand Calligraphy and Painting Exchange" activity was organized. Its style combines both craftsmanship and writing, which is a clever integration of diverse techniques in traditional flower and bird painting. She is well versed in the color design tradition of the Five Dynasties Huangqi, known as the "Huang Family Wealth and Prosperity", but she is able to break free from the traditional heavy and bright colors, endowing them with a contemporary texture of elegance and transparency. The crimson and bright yellow of peonies, in her writing, are both heavy and elegant; The purple hue of grapes and the interweaving of blue and red chrysanthemums create a bright yet harmonious atmosphere. This kind of color setting not only does not deviate from the ancient method of "coloring according to the type", but also creates an elegant and vibrant visual effect based on women's sensitivity to color, achieving an organic integration of traditional color setting and contemporary aesthetics. The "vivid charm" that runs through its style is a persistent practice of the core spirit of Chinese painting.
 
The flowers and birds in the painting, or the blooming peonies, or the agility of small birds, or the uprightness of bamboo, all convey the rhythm of life through the flow of ink and brush.
