赵志锡Zhao Zhixi

Zhao Zhixi, also known as Zhixi, pen name: Zhixi Brush and Ink, Dreamy Elegant Zhi. Born in Danyang, Jiangsu in 1949, currently residing in Lishui, Zhejiang. I am currently a national first-class artist, a Chinese first-class calligrapher and painter, and the vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute. Senior Art Consultant of the China Oriental Culture Research Association, Art Consultant of the Central New Film High School Student Channel Art Journey, Member of the Calligraphy and Painting Creation Committee of the World Youth Civilization Forum, Member of the Central State Organs Artists Association, Member of the China Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Association, Director of the China Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Association, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Arts, Researcher of the Global Hanmo Culture and Art Academy, Vice President of the China Academy of Painting, Member of the Lishui Artists Association in Zhejiang Province, and Member of the Zhejiang Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Research Association.

 

In September 2022, after review by the Oriental Huaxia Cultural Heritage Protection Center and the Cultural Heritage Protection Research Project Office, it was decided to include Zhao Zhixi's calligraphy and painting works in "Huaxia Heritage - The pinnacle of art" as reference materials for the protection of Huaxia cultural heritage, and to promote and publicize them. During the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in October 2022, renowned calligrapher and painter Zhao Zhixi was invited to publish his Chinese painting works in the People's Representative Daily to congratulate the party congress on its complete success.

 

Invited Chinese calligraphy and painting representatives to participate in the Book 1 Celebrity List held by China and South Korea at the Korea National Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea in July 2023.

 

On March 12, 2023, I was invited to be included in the compilation of a large-scale boutique crystal and glass album titled "National Gift Artists Towards the World" edited and produced by Overseas Chinese Publishing House. I was one of the first outstanding Chinese artists recommended to the international community, and the large-scale boutique glass album was collected by embassies of various countries in China.

 

On March 12, 2023, recommended and selected by the organizing committee of the Chinese Art Celebrity List to be included in the "Chinese Art Celebrity List".

 

In January 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of Vice President of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute.

 

On May 24-25, 2024, I was invited to participate in the "Endless Art~Famous Teachers and Stars Calligraphy and Painting Lecture Hall" organized by the Social Professional Committee of the Chinese Culture and Arts Research Association.

 

On May 29, 2024, it was awarded by the Honor China Culture and Arts Organizing Committee The Central New International Cultural Communication Committee has awarded the honorary title of "China Glory - World Cultural and Art Master".

In August 2024, he was selected by the China New Media Organizing Committee as a recommended artist for the "Top 100 Golden Artists in China" list.

 

Won the Monet International Art Gold Award in September 2024.

 

On September 27, 2024, CCTV Huaxia Voice showcased the pinnacle of world art: Zhao Zhixi, one of the top ten leading figures.

In November 2024, the Hubei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles held a book and painting exhibition on ancient and modern legends, and held the Yangtze River Painting and Calligraphy Creation Award exhibition. The work "Mountain Tour Without Rain, Empty Green, Wet Clothes" won the Ancient and Modern Legend Art Award.

Admitted to the Art Education and Innovation Training Program at Tsinghua University's Academy of Arts and Fine Arts from July 11th to 13th, 2025

 

Received the honorary title of "Calligraphy and Painting Mentor" as an influential figure of the times by the Central New Film High School Student Channel (Time Strong Country) program team in July 2027;

 

In May 2029, the organizing committee of the Asian Culture and Arts Network invited Zhao Zhixi to be appointed as the Chief Chairman (long-term) of the Asian Culture and Arts Network.

 

On May 10, 2025, Zhao Zhixi won the "Top Ten Contemporary Chinese Cultural Scholars - Chinese Cultural Scholar Award" published by China Innovation Network and other coal mining companies.
